Position Summary The Operations Lead is expected to provide excellent guest service and help cultivate a memorable facility experience.
Responsibilities include event supervision, setup and teardown, daily operations support, preventative maintenance and facility upkeep.
Primary Responsibilities
Serve as a shift lead for the Operations Team.
Assist with training and monitoring quality control for the Operations Department.
Perform setup and tear‑down duties according to event and program specifications.
Support all aspects of facility operations.
Assist in performing preventative maintenance work.
Assist with monitoring quality control of vendor performance.
Consistently communicate issues and updates to the direct supervisor.
Greet and serve guests according to the Guest 1st Service model standards.
Act as liaison between the venue and guests.
Assist with ensuring the facility is clean, safe, and guest‑ready.
Help maintain and inventory departmental and facility assets.
Assist in ensuring all facility equipment is in proper working order.
Assist with identifying and mitigating safety issues throughout the facility.
Assist with medical and security issues per the Emergency Action Plan standards.
Perform additional duties assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays, long hours) and regular attendance.
Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain focus in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
Outstanding guest service skills.
Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and remain calm under stressful situations.
Respectful and friendly demeanor.
Strong teamwork ability.
Proactive initiative for team and venue improvement.
Commitment to safety and well‑being of others.
Basic understanding of ice event and/or facility operations is preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high.
May be required to sit or stand for extended periods, indoors or outdoors, including squatting, stooping or bending.
Facility has intermittent noise.
