Ford’s Engine Components team is looking for a highly motivated individual to deliver cost, quality, and delivery targets for the Exhaust Manifolds commodity. You’ll develop key relationships cross functionally within Ford and with supplier partners, monitor and adjust strategic direction for the commodity, and source for future model vehicles. Responsibilities
Develop sourcing plans enabling commercial negotiations and strategic sourcing to support supplier onboarding dates while delivering program targets. Lead target sign-off with match-pairs, prepare RFQs, evaluate supplier quotations, and complete Commercial Agreements. Lead QCDR process to deliver full-year objectives for commodity suppliers. Develop and maintain strong supplier partnerships. Lead supplier commercial negotiations and drive cost reduction strategies. Assist in managing the category strategy (CBP) across regions with annual updates, including identifying and developing suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Complete critical upcoming sourcing decisions and work with new suppliers on industrialization plans. What you’ll do
Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: develop commodity strategies to execute sourcing activities on time and at target; manage the commodity strategy with global team members; present sourcing strategy to Executive leadership. Commodity Management: execute negotiations to deliver material cost targets; support quality initiatives by sourcing to Q1 supplier sites and holding suppliers accountable; lead QCDR reviews; understand supply base footprint and trends; align with cross-functional teams on introducing new suppliers. Other Responsibilities: conduct agenda-driven meetings with suppliers; attend internal and external stakeholder meetings; drive continuous improvement with supplier partners; complete required training; support S&OP when supplier quality/delivery issues emerge; close commercial issues timely and effectively. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree 3+ years of procurement and supply chain experience Availability to work hybrid (4 days in Dearborn & 1 day optional remote) Even better, you may have
