Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Lone Star Project

$32.00/hr – $32.00/hr
Position Summary:
TIC is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for the Lone Star project located in Shepherd, TX.
Requirements
At least 3 years' experience as a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic.
Must be able to maintain, diagnose, and repair all types of heavy construction equipment including hydraulic, electric, and power train systems.
Experience working with Caterpillar, Liebherr, Xtreme, and Takeuchi equipment.
Experience with diagnostic systems: CAT ET, Cummins INSITE, Diesel Laptop.
Job Details
Current schedule: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm (Monday–Friday).
Up to $32/hour, depending on experience.
$100 per diem per day worked if applicable.
All offers contingent on passing a Drug and Alcohol test.
Work Environment
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and move around a construction/industrial site.
Exposure to changing outdoor weather conditions.
Work may require irregular hours, weekends, overtime, and holidays.
May need to use ladders, mechanical platforms, manlifts, and scaffolds to access equipment; may exceed 200 ft. must climb and maintain balance.
Move and work in confined, cluttered places and uneven surfaces.
Complete tasks in a noisy and dusty environment.
May be required to move items up to 50 pounds.
Must have required tools.
Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.
Pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing and be fit for duty medically.
