Process Engineer
Position Summary
The Process Engineer will have daily responsibility for the manufacturing process and implementation of projects. The role also involves development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing process optimization.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, monitor, and manage maintenance routines.
Participate in selection of technologies to be used for new applications.
Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by maintaining a safety‑first mindset.
Participate in new innovative automation projects.
As a “safety‑sensitive” role, GreenWood has designated this position accordingly.
Additional Responsibilities
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Essential Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
5 years of experience in Process Engineering with instrument and equipment knowledge.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Proficient computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of process control, plant dynamic simulation, and control theory.
Knowledge of signal processing theory and PID tuning.
Experience in software programming (DCS, PLC, SIS PLC, SCADA).
Experience demonstrating successful support of a positive safety culture.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation(s).

Greater than 5 years of experience in Process Engineering with instrument and equipment knowledge.
