Location: Valley Green, PA Wage: Depends on Experience

Responsibilities

Develop new products and processes via mechanical testing and qualification of electrical connectors and components.

Develop test sequences and procedures to determine the long‑term reliability of electrical connectors factoring customer use and application requirements.

Process and analyze testing results and create reports and presentations for internal and external customers.

Support the product design effort in mechanical analysis such as tolerance analysis, FEA, materials analysis, failure analysis, and creating test plans.

Prepare test samples and test requests, design and fabricate test fixtures, and interface with test lab technicians.

Collaborate with internal and external suppliers and manufacturing personnel, supporting the development and validation of product prototypes through pilot production and interfacing with beta‑site customers.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Mechanical / Materials Science Engineering.

Experience with solid modeling tools – Pro/E and/or SolidWorks.

Experience with data analysis software – Excel, Minitab (plus).

Experience with Finite Element Analysis tools (ANSYS is a plus).

Understanding of international testing standards.

Understanding of electrical systems and electrical connectors.

Ability to perform failure analysis, tolerance analysis, and DFMEA.

Strong communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Team oriented work style.

Enthusiasm for creating and designing new products and processes.

Knowledge of copper alloys and high‑performance engineering thermoplastics (plus).
