Position Overview This is a major
utility-scale solar farm
located in Gilliam County, Oregon. The project will deliver clean energy to thousands of homes and contribute to the region’s renewable energy goals. Construction will involve civil works, PV module installation, electrical systems, and commissioning activities, requiring strict adherence to quality standards and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
Implement and manage the project’s
Quality Management System , including inspection protocols and corrective actions.
Develop and enforce quality standards for civil works, PV module installation, inverters, racking, and electrical systems.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits; manage Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain compliance with project specifications.
Provide quality oversight during commissioning and turnover phases.
Prepare and present quality reports to project leadership and stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
(Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field) required.
5+ years of experience in Quality Management for large‑scale energy or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of QMS frameworks, ISO 9001, CAPA processes, and root‑cause analysis.
Familiarity with utility‑scale solar construction, including foundations, modules, inverters, and cabling.
Proven ability to manage quality documentation, audits, NCRs, and corrective actions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to safety, reliability, and compliance standards.
