Role Summary This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Program Assistant, based in Portland, OR, with the opportunity for some work from home. The Program Assistant will support daily program operations, including administrative tasks, program management, and communication with staff members, students, and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, organizing program‑related materials, conducting research, and providing general support to the program team to ensure effective program delivery and operations.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with a diverse group of stakeholders, including staff, students, and external partners
Program management skills to assist in coordinating and supporting program activities
Experience in administrative assistance and organizing schedules, records, and documentation
Proficiency in research to gather information and support program development and reporting
Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and problem‑solving skills
Familiarity with educational or nonprofit settings is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative tools
Commitment to the mission of supporting students’ academic and personal growth
