Key Responsibilities

Oversee full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles within the plant.

Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution for manufacturing personnel.

Ensure compliance with all federal and state labor laws, company policies, and support plant safety initiatives.

Develop and deliver training programs, including onboarding, safety, and skills development for production teams.

Administer competitive compensation structures and benefits programs, including shift differentials and overtime.

Implement and manage performance appraisal systems and talent development programs for the manufacturing workforce.

Contribute to workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development strategies for the manufacturing site.

Recommended Qualifications

Extensive experience in HR management within a manufacturing environment.

Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.

Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including OSHA regulations.

Experience with workforce planning, talent development, and retention strategies for a production-based workforce.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of an organization.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their impact on human resources practices.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Continuous Improvement methodologies.

SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.

Experience managing HR in a unionized environment.

Proficiency in HR analytics and data-driven decision making.
