Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Blythewood, SC, for an Estimator. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and other documents. Daily tasks may include quantity takeoffs, preparing bids, collaborating with project teams, sourcing materials and labor costs, and communicating with subcontractors and vendors. The Estimator will play a key role in ensuring competitive pricing and maintaining project budgets while meeting deadlines. Qualifications
Proficiency in cost estimation, quantity takeoffs, and budget management Ability to analyze project plans, engineering drawings, and specifications Strong communication and collaboration skills to interact with project teams, vendors, and subcontractors Knowledge of construction materials, labor costs, and industry practices Experience with relevant estimation software and tools Well-organized with attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field preferred Previous experience in construction estimation is highly desirable Seniority level
