Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead multifamily construction projects throughout the Tampa Bay area. This role oversees projects from pre-construction through closeout, with a strong focus on schedule, budget, quality, and safety. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience delivering garden style, wrap, and podium multifamily developments. Key Responsibilities
Manage multifamily construction projects from pre-construction through completion, including garden style, wrap, and podium product types Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts to ensure successful project delivery Coordinate with owners, developers, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors throughout all phases of construction Lead project meetings, including owner meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, and internal team reviews Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract execution, scope reviews, and change management Ensure all work is performed in accordance with contract documents, local codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards Review and process pay applications, change orders, RFIs, and submittals Work closely with Superintendents to monitor field progress, site logistics, safety compliance, and quality control Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies Manage project closeout, including punch lists, turnover documentation, warranties, and final inspections Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on multifamily construction projects Demonstrated experience delivering garden style, wrap, and/or podium multifamily developments Strong understanding of construction sequencing, means and methods, and cost controls Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar platforms Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Seniority level
