Regional Quality Control Manager (Project Management)

We are seeking a Regional Quality Control Manager for our County Materials Pipe Division at Lockport, IL.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, policies, and procedures to support operational excellence.
Oversee and coordinate quality control activities across multiple sites to ensure adherence to company standards and promote a safety-first culture.
Lead, train, and mentor Quality Control Technicians to ensure consistent execution of quality programs and compliance with project specifications.
Analyze quality performance data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
Track, document, and report audit outcomes to ensure visibility, accountability, and timely resolution of non-conformances.
Maintain required certifications, documentation, and regulatory compliance across all assigned locations.
Serve as a liaison between plant operations, quality control teams, and external parties, including regulatory agencies and industry associations.
Work Environment Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, including production areas and job sites. Exposure to varying weather conditions may occur. May work near moving machinery, equipment, or electrical components. Noise levels can be high; hearing protection may be required.
Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs occasionally; may lift more than 40 lbs on occasion. Frequent standing, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to reach above shoulder height as needed. Reasonable accommodation may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
Experience & Qualifications
68 years of progressive experience in quality management or quality systems, preferably within the construction materials or manufacturing industry.
ACI Field Technician Level 1 certification preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Experience with quality management and data analysis software.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership experience with multi-site or regional teams.
Deep understanding of quality systems, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement methodologies.
