JOB SUMMARY

The Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and supporting Verida, Inc.’s Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) provider network to ensure full compliance with contractual, regulatory, and operational requirements. This role plays a critical function in safeguarding the integrity, safety, and quality of NEMT services delivered to members by verifying provider adherence to vehicle, driver, training, and performance standards across multiple contracts.

The position provides operational oversight of provider compliance activities, including credentialing, inspections, training, incident and accident management, and quality assurance initiatives. The Compliance Manager also serves as a key liaison between Verida, Inc., its clients, and contracted providers, supporting continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and compliance with federal, state, and client‑specific NEMT requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Generate, maintain, and manage executed contractual agreements for the NEMT provider network.

Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, providers, and internal leadership.

Verify, track, and maintain current and valid documentation to confirm NEMT provider compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and operational requirements, including but not limited to:

Provider credentialing

Vehicle compliance

Driver and attendant qualifications

Insurance and licensing

Required training and certifications

Oversee the implementation, and monitoring of required NEMT training programs in accordance with contract requirements.

Ensure accurate, timely entry and maintenance of provider, vehicle, driver, and inspection data within Verida, Inc.’s systems.

Communicate compliance findings, risks, and corrective actions to appropriate departments and leadership.

Establish and maintain routine contact with contracted NEMT providers to support ongoing compliance and operational alignment.

Conduct annual, bi‑annual, and unannounced inspections of authorized NEMT vehicles and operations to confirm compliance with executed provider agreements.

Investigate incidents, accidents, potential fraud, abuse, and quality‑of‑care concerns, and coordinate appropriate follow‑up actions.

Ensure inspection documentation, reports, and photographic evidence are completed and submitted in accordance with established timelines.

Monitor provider, driver, attendant, and field staff performance to confirm adherence to Verida, Inc. policies, procedures, and standards.

Provide oversight and guidance to Compliance Coordinator Specialists and Compliance Field Officers to support consistent and effective compliance practices.

Manage and support safety and security programs related to NEMT operations.

Prepare, review, and submit internal and regulatory reports as required by contracts and oversight agencies.

Assist with reconciliation and resolution of compliance‑related issues.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

Minimum of five (5) years of customer service experience.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in risk management and/or compliance.

Five (5) years of experience in NEMT, EMS, public transit, or fleet management preferred.

Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or management experience.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Professional appearance and positive, solution‑oriented attitude.

This is an on‑site position requiring regular attendance at the Corporate Office in Villa Rica, Georgia.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift objects weighing more than 50 pounds.

Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, and step in and out of vehicles.

Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.

Ability to operate in all conditions, including daytime, nighttime, and adverse weather.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.

CERTIFICATIONS (REQUIRED OR PREFERRED)

Certified Instructor in:

Defensive Driving

First Aid

CPR

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred, or equivalent professional experience in compliance, quality assurance, or operational oversight within the transportation or healthcare services industry.
