POSITION SUMMARY
As Vacation Rental Inspector at StayCVP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our properties meet the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality, and presentation. Your
eye for detail and commitment to excellence
will be essential in delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will conduct
thorough pre-arrival inspections, address minor maintenance issues, and communicate effectively with our operations team . You will
collaborate and communicate with the operations team
regarding property readiness and report any outstanding issues, as well as report significant maintenance concerns that require professional servicing to the maintenance team. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and a dedication to providing top-notch service.
This position is 5 days a week, with some weekends required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct thorough pre-arrival inspections to confirm properties meet CVP's standards for cleanliness, functionality, and presentation. Identify and address minor maintenance issues such as changing light bulbs, replacing remote and lock batteries, fixing blinds, and removing scuff marks from walls. Ensure all guest essentials (toiletries, coffee station supplies, etc.) are stocked and property amenities are functioning properly. Inspect for any missed cleaning details, such as streaked surfaces, overlooked dust, or water spots, and correct as needed. Confirm all doors, windows, and security features are in proper working order. Verify that HVAC systems, appliances, and lighting are functioning correctly before guest arrival. Occasionally assist with laundry operations as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens during high-volume periods or operational gaps. Prepare, organize, and stage clean linens each morning for the cleaning team to support efficient and on-time property turnovers. Follow company protocols for property entry and departure, ensuring respect for owner and guest privacy.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least
one year of experience
working in hotels, short-term rentals, or hospitality-related roles. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify both cleaning and maintenance needs. A valid
driver's license
and a
reliable personal vehicle
for transportation between properties. A working
smartphone
capable of downloading and using work-related apps. Excellent
written and verbal communication skills
to document inspections and report issues. Ability to work independently and maintain high standards without constant supervision. Ability to successfully pass a
background check . Must be
physically capable
of standing for long periods, walking through properties, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Hourly Rate:
$20.00 - $25.00 Bonus 10% bonus plan based on achievement to team-level goals Benefits Health insurance Paid time off such as PTO, sick days, and vacation days Retirement benefits or accounts Vision insurance Dental insurance Schedule
