The Legal Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and organizational support to Casella's Legal Department. The role is responsible for coordinating legal documents, managing records, supporting contract workflows, and ensuring efficient day‑to‑day operations of the legal team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable handling confidential information in a fast‑paced, professional environment. Hiring Range

$52,000–$69,000 based on experience. Key Responsibilities

Provides administrative support to attorneys and paralegals. Prepares, formats, proofreads, and files legal documents, correspondence, and reports. Maintains and organizes electronic and physical legal files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Assists with contract administration and bid process management, including tracking and approvals. Supports legal research and information gathering as requested. Coordinates document execution, including signature collection and distribution. Manages incoming requests, correspondence, and inquiries for the Legal Department. Supports special projects and process improvements within the Legal Department. Ensures compliance with all organisation, state, and federal policies, regulations, and laws concerning employment and employee safety. Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the organisation’s products, sales, and services, and performs other applicable duties necessary to help drive the organisation’s vision and fulfill its mission, in line with its core values. Education, Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent work experience and 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a legal or corporate setting. Strong organisational and time‑management abilities are essential, as is the capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is expected. The role requires a high level of discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Attributes
