We are seeking a Safety and Security Leader responsible for site safety programs, emergency response planning, security operations, and regulatory compliance for the Texas City site.

Key Responsibilities Safety

Ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, INEOS policies, and all regulatory requirements.

Lead development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety programs, including PSM, lockout/tagout, confined space, hot work, PPE, hazard communication, and industrial hygiene.

Oversee Safety & Security department operations, staffing, training, emergency response, budgeting, and contractor safety.

Deliver safety training to employees, contractors, and new hires.

Support site leadership with safety guidance, incident investigations, corrective actions, and reporting.

Manage and maintain life‑critical procedures and site safety standards.

Lead safety culture initiatives, risk‑awareness programs, and injury‑reduction efforts.

Participate in project reviews and field safety consultations.

Security

Serve as Facility Security Officer (FSO); oversee MTSA compliance and the TWIC program.

Manage site security systems, vendors, access control, audits, and corrective actions.

Coordinate with community partners and government agencies, including US Coast Guard, local law enforcement, and emergency management.

Maintain and update the facility security plan and conduct regular security assessments.

Oversee security contractors and ensure site perimeter integrity.

Provide routine reports to site and corporate leadership on safety, emergency response, and security activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required (Occupational Safety & Health or other technical field preferred).

Minimum 5 years of safety experience in chemical or industrial manufacturing.

CSP certification preferred.

Experience with security programs is a plus.

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and familiarity with PSM.

Working knowledge of industrial hygiene practices.

Ability to interpret regulations, technical documents, and SDS.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS management software.
