Job Description The Sr Engineer Technical Services provides support and guidance to manufacturing in the areas of manufacturing processes, equipment operational capabilities, and equipment maintenance and equipment installation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review manufacturing needs and recommend manufacturing processes and machinery to meet company needs

Develop detailed specification for machinery

Negotiate pricing and delivery on machinery

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders for machinery purchases

Maintain records on machinery purchased

Direct, lead and perform installation of machinery

Provide day-to-day support to plant maintenance personnel on an as needed basis

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or ten or more years experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment

Steel processing industry experience highly desirable

Verbal, written, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and project management skills

Ability to take initiative and manage multiple tasks

Proficient in MS Office Suite applications

Ability to travel 50%
