About the Team Part of the European Finance team, reporting directly to the Chief accountant for EMEA.
About the Position Managing day to day finance activities for Germany. Processing and payment of supplier invoices and expenses. Processing and collection of customer invoices. Assisting with the processing and payment of monthly payroll and associated taxes. Assisting with the weekly cash flow, monthly reporting and financial accounts. Managing the physical filing within the Munich finance office.
Role and Responsibilities
Independent execution of accounting activities (debtors, creditors, bank, etc..)
Preparation of outgoing invoices.
Preparation and posting of the payroll accounting.
Credit card and expense reporting with VMA calculation.
Bank transfers domestic and abroad.
Regular reconciliation of accounts and open items.
Support with monthly and annual financial statements.
Ensuring timely payment of duties and taxes as well as reports (UVA, ZM, statistical reports).
Contact for tax office, authorities, and banks.
Support with Office Administration.
About You 3-5 years of bookkeeping or comparable experience. Fluent in English, written and spoken. Fluent in German, written and spoken. Able to work independently and to tight deadlines. Good organisation skills. Experience of MS Excel package. This role is based in Munich, right to work in Germany is required.
Preferred Experience Level 3 years
Preferred Education Level Bachelor's Degree
