SR Teller Marquette Bank invites applications for the Senior Teller position.

Pay Range: $17.50-$19.00

Position Summary As a Senior Teller with Marquette Bank, you will assist the Teller Supervisor or Branch Operations Manager with the day-to-day duties of the Retail Operations Department. You will perform backroom teller functions, balance the vault and branch, and open and close the branch. You will be one of our customers’ most valuable resources by accurately processing customer transactions, developing relationships and delivering a high level of customer service.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Possess excellent communication skills to interact with employees and customers.

A high level of interpersonal skills to represent the bank in a professional manner in all customer interactions.

Capability to relate to and empathize with people and maintain a friendly, cheerful demeanor.

Must be proficient in all aspects of teller duties.

Must have a thorough knowledge of the teller terminal transactions and corrections.

Possess detailed knowledge of all backroom teller balancing, remittance procedures and vault teller procedures.

May assist other tellers in balancing daily transactions.

May assist in opening and closing of branch.

Actively comply with all applicable laws and regulations to include the Bank Secrecy Act, the Community Reinvestment Act, and all other deposit, lending, or non-deposit service regulations; adhering to the Bank’s internal policies, procedures, and risk management responsibilities contained in the Employee Handbook, the Employee Code of Conduct, and other applicable policies.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Abilities, Experience And Training Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Must have 1-2 years teller experience.

Detail oriented with a thorough understanding of the Teller Department.

Versatile and possess excellent communication skills to interact with employees and customers.

Possess leadership and organizational skills to be able to analyze accurately and think quickly.

Physical Demands

Employee is regularly required to remain in a standing position.

Employee may need to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Employee is regularly required to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e., a calculator, copy machine and computer printer).

Employee may need to constantly position themselves in the office in order to retrieve files from upper and lower drawers.

Employee in this position frequently communicates with staff and clients and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Employee may need to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Employee specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
