About The Role Insight’s packaged services team is hiring a full‑time GitHub and Application Development Architect to collaborate with our clients in solving business challenges through modern technology. The role involves engaging directly with clients, conducting technical training sessions on GitHub Copilot and platform, conducting technical assessments, leading hybrid software development teams, and hands‑on work in application modernization, migration, AI solutions, DevOps, and cloud practices. As the project’s technical lead, you will guide clients toward future capabilities, design modern applications, oversee implementation, and mentor Insight developers.
Responsibilities
Architect enterprise‑grade CI/CD and SDLC solutions using the GitHub platform.
Conduct enablement sessions on GitHub Copilot, GitHub platform, and SDLC best practices.
Architect enterprise‑grade cloud native solutions aligned to industry best‑practices.
Lead technical assessments for our clients that include understanding a client's problem and creating a future‑looking roadmap mapped to business KPIs and ROIs.
Lead and mentor a hybrid development team consisting of both onshore and off‑shore developers while delivering client projects.
Deliver technical recommendations, presentations, and workshops to groups of peers and/or clients.
Hands‑on development of cloud native software solutions, integration platforms, and intelligent applications.

What We’re Looking For
10+ total years industry experience.
10+ years of experience as a software engineer with hands‑on programming.
3+ years of experience as an architect.
4+ years of professional hands‑on experience with a public cloud provider. Microsoft Azure is preferred; additional knowledge of AWS, and/or GCP is also highly valuable.
Architect level experience with a consulting firm is preferred.
GitHub and cloud certifications preferred.
