Responsibilities
Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs.
Follow standards of safe radiation practice.
Demonstrate leadership abilities and act as a role model for other associate technologists.
Act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assure current standards of practice for the unit.
Provide assistance during interventional breast procedures.
Job Requirements
One year mammography, breast ultrasound, or bone density experience (preferred).
High school diploma or GED (required).
Associate’s degree (strongly preferred).
Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred).
ARRT(R) registered (required).
One of the following registries required (dependent on hospital/locations): ARRT (M) and/or ARRT (BS) or ARDMS (BR) or Breast Imaging Navigator (NCBC certified) or Bone Density certification.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from American Heart Association.
Physical Requirements
Medium Work: Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly.

We are a Level III Trauma center, STEMI Cardiac receiving center, and certified stroke treatment center. Our employees are continually prepared, accountable, inspired and ensure compliance with the highest levels of quality care and patient safety standards. Recently given the Women’s Choice Award for America’s 100 Best Hospitals Emergency Care, we are the only designated trauma center west of I-15 in the Salt Lake Valley.
Pay Range $31.63 - $45.88 /hour
