Overview
The EH&S Process Safety Expert is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations while proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating workplace hazards.
This role supports safe operations through monitoring, training, reporting, and implementation of effective control measures in laboratory, clinical, and manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct quantitative and qualitative monitoring of workplace conditions, including air sampling and biological monitoring, to assess worker exposure.
Identify potential health hazards such as chemical toxicity, airborne contaminants, biological agents, and ergonomic stressors through inspections and evaluations.
Provide training and education to employees and management on hazards, safe work practices, and proper use of safety equipment and controls.
Develop and implement hazard control measures, including engineering controls, administrative controls, and appropriate use of personal protective equipment.
Prepare detailed reports of assessments, findings, and recommendations for management and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Public Health.
Hands‑on EHS experience in clinical or manufacturing environments.
Industrial hygiene experience.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GMP and GLP.
Exposure to biological, chemical, or radiological safety protocols.
Preferred
Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.
