The Foreman is responsible for leading the crew and operating equipment necessary to install various utilities and associated units to complete projects. The Foreman will supervise and assist with all aspects of projects such as safety, managing team members, operation of equipment, completing associated field paperwork, training, and occasional labor duties.

Physical and Environmental Factors
Ability to work outdoors and in all types of outdoor weather.
Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, carry, and lift as needed.
Ability to coordinate eyes, hands, feet, and limbs in performing skilled movement.
Ability to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time.
100% travel required.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Meet or exceed all safety, quality, and productivity requirements for assigned projects.
Lead, direct, and mentor crews to ensure on‑time completion while meeting all financial and non‑financial objectives.
Staff projects, actively recruit new talent, retain existing employees, and promote career advancement.
Manage employee relation issues; provide recognition, discipline, and performance evaluations.
Recommend additional subcontractors for approval.
Initiate training and cross‑training for all personnel to become experts in their field.
Schedule daily activities and take corrective action to meet or beat deadlines.
Monitor overall project performance for productivity, safety, and quality standards; resolve issues promptly.
Review and approve employee timecards; complete required production reports.
Perform daily preventative maintenance on construction equipment and report issues to the Fleet Manager.
Report weekly to the Fleet Manager information such as equipment hours and miles.
Abide by all company and manufacturer safety procedures, industry safety standards, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
Establish a positive working relationship with crew, customers, and subcontractors.
Conduct daily crew tool‑talk meetings to identify safety, quality, and productivity improvement opportunities.
Perform routine labor and operate equipment.
Haul equipment to and from project sites.
Represent PUSH, Inc. in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Identify, recommend, and implement continuous improvement processes that elevate the company.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
Work Experience:
Two (2) years’ supervisory experience within a utility construction setting. Demonstrated field experience with digging operations in city and rural areas around utilities and operating equipment such as backhoe/loader, excavator, cable plow, and compact track loader, including various attachments.
Requirements
Valid Driver’s License; Class A CDL preferred.
Must pass pre‑employment screenings.
Ability to motivate, mentor, and lead teams.
Must work well with others and participate on a crew.
Embrace new technologies.
Positive attitude.
Computer literate with experience using Microsoft and Google G‑suite.
Ability to read, comprehend, and prepare all project‑related work reports.
Ability to handle stressful situations and workloads.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Ability to multitask effectively.
