As the Apprentice, Facilities Manager you will act as a Facilities Specialist (FS) for a small set of restaurants while performing additional tasks such as managing minor remodel projects, handling unplanned emergencies, assisting with budget forecasting, and mentoring FS development. The AFM leads the Ownership program for their region, identifies potential FS candidates, trains newly hired FSs, monitors budgets with the Facilities Manager (FM), and communicates with vendors on M&R and reinvestment projects. What You’ll Do

Manage all facilities related items within a micro‑region, including 4‑6 direct reports. Ensure regional FSs meet or exceed budgetary compliance requirements for M&R and address discrepancies. Mentor and develop FSs, demonstrating respect, appreciation, and driving performance and ownership. Ensure FS inventory stock levels, work truck cleanliness, uniform standards, and timely paperwork compliance. Empower FSs to deliver high standards through restaurant visits, staff interactions, and vendor relationships. Communicate clearly with Wynkoop staff, property management, lease administration, field leadership, restaurant staff, and other development staff. Lead minor remodel projects (scoping, bid requests, approval, budget guidelines, communication). Attend kick‑off calls when FM is unavailable. What You’ll Bring To The Table

High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Facilities experience in Specialist or Manager role. Knowledge of the Facilities Specialist job. Strong supervisory and organizational skills. Ability to empower team, develop leaders, maintain high standards, and remove obstacles. Commitment to Chipotle culture and values, including ownership mentality. Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the primary language(s). PC skills: Excel, Word, Reporting Services. Occasional travel. P‑Card Excellence Rating of 2 or better and inventory variances

Sign‑off from RD/TD for mentoring/leadership within the region. Ownership within assigned restaurants at least 85% average. Pay Transparency

Estimated base pay range: $76,000.00–$107,500.00. Eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based on performance. Includes medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), sick leave, vacation time, and more.
