Make a Difference The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders.
Responsibilities • Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams. • Provide correct patient identification; technique, education, instruction, and transportation as necessary. • Operate all imaging and Doppler/duplex equipment with proper technique. • Serve as preceptor for imaging procedures.
Exceptional Skills And Qualifications
Exceptional communication and patient care skills
Aptitude toward the team philosophy
Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Basic computer skills
Sterile procedure compliance
Meets all computer and documentation competencies
Education: Graduate of an Accredited Ultrasound Program preferred
License Requirements: Current ARDMS Certification in Ultrasound (If hired without a license, ARDMS or ARRT(S) or CCI certification is required within 24 months of obtaining position)
