About the Role We are looking for a Medical Payment Reconciliation Analyst responsible for special projects primarily related to investigating and resolving complex payment issues. We support over 200 independently owned and operated physical rehabilitation clinics across sixteen states, employing more than 1,800 people. Job Duties
Work assigned specialty follow‑up queues.
Investigate and resolve variances between received payments and missing payments.
Identify and correct payment posting errors.
Reconcile recoupments from insurance payors.
Research unidentified payments to determine appropriate resolution.
Assist in posting insurance and third‑party payments, contractual write‑offs and transfers by either electronic means or manually.
Balance postings daily.
Maintain a high level of productivity.
Work with the team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Job Requirements
High School/G.E.D. requirement or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Minimum of 3 years medical experience required, with at least 2 years in payment posting, electronic payment posting preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of insurance explanation of benefits required.
Understanding of medical terminology required.
Prior experience with a high‑volume transactional environment preferred.
Excellent typing and 10‑key skills required.
