This role works closely with suppliers, freight partners, and internal teams to ensure stock availability, cost control, and a high level of internal customer service.Responsibilities include* Manage daily purchasing and ordering of stock* Lead and support the purchasing team, allocating work as needed* Liaise with suppliers and negotiate pricing, delivery, and terms* Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and freight forwarders* Track inbound shipments and ensure accurate delivery information* Support sales teams with pricing and ETA enquiries* Work closely with warehouse and accounts teams to resolve issues* Identify cost savings and process improvements* Ensure compliance with WHS and company policiesAbout you – Skills, experience and qualifications* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a purchasing, supply chain, or logistics role* Previous team leadership or coordination experience* Strong organisational and time management skills* Confident communicator with good attention to detail* Comfortable using purchasing or ERP systems* Proactive, reliable, and solution focused* Experience in machinery or parts supply desirable but not essentialWhat's in it for youYou'll be part of a people-centric culture, where your well-being matters.
