Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking Project Manager who could join our team of professionals in a permanent role.
Core Responsibilities
Schedule Management:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for automation activities.
Track progress against milestones and proactively identify risks or delays.
Activity Coordination:
Direct day-to-day tasks for automation engineers and ensure alignment with project goals.
Coordinate vendor activities and internal stakeholders.
Meeting Representation:
Act as the primary point of contact for the automation function in cross‑functional meetings.
Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership and site teams.
Documentation & Compliance:
Ensure all project documentation meets regulatory and quality standards (GMP, C&Q protocols).
Support audits and inspections related to automation systems.
Technical & Domain Knowledge
Automation Familiarity:
Understanding of PLC‑based systems (Rockwell, Siemens) and distributed architectures.
Awareness of Industry 4.0 concepts, MQTT data flow, and edge‑device integration.
Experience with Life Science Regulatory Compliance & Documentation (GMP, C&Q)
C&Q Expertise:
E xperience managing commissioning and qualification activities in pharma/biotech environments.
Vendor Management:
Skilled in coordinating multiple OEMs and third‑party service providers.
Soft Skills
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment during startup.
Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
Working arrangements Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position based out at Lebanon, IN.
