The Sephora Business Intelligence & Analytics team works in close partnership with key stakeholders across the organization identifying strategic opportunities and making data‑driven decisions. We play a critical role in helping cross‑functional teams understand the drivers of business performance through the lens of our clients and provide actionable insights across multiple departments from Marketing to Merchandising to Omnichannel Retail to Loyalty. Our team of analysts are all data savvy individuals that share a common goal to answer Sephora’s toughest questions weaving together quantitative and qualitative information into a holistic story. Our VP interacts frequently with senior leadership across the organization.

The Sr Manager, Site Testing Analytics plays a critical role in shaping the future of Sephora’s digital business, providing thought leadership and strategic insights to the Digital team from a data perspective. They are a catalyst for continual improvements in business performance, analytics infrastructure, and data insights. The person is responsible for analyzing digital data on Sephora.com across all our digital experiences (Desktop, Mobile, App). The ideal candidate has outstanding analytic skills, strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal abilities, and working knowledge of A/B testing principles. The role resides within the Analytics team and partners with the marketing, business, and tech teams to drive Sephora's strategies forward.

Measure the results of A/B tests and communicate clear learnings, insights and opportunities to the core scrum team and more broadly with the larger cross‑functional stakeholders.

Design roadmap testing plans to ensure ability to get a statistically significant read for key metrics that support the test hypothesis. Articulate requirements to ensure that we can track and report on all digital testing initiatives.

Deliver clear and concise reports and presentations that communicate key insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy for the cross‑functional site testing program, proactively identifying areas of opportunity.

Manage and mentor an analyst; balancing between delegating work and being an individual contributor, and career development for direct reports.

Collaborate with Tech and Engineering teams to enable new tools and technologies.

6+ years in an analytics role

3+ years of management experience

Fluency in core analytics toolkit: Advanced SQL, Web analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics), Data visualization, Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills, R/Python a plus

Exceptional problem solving and analysis skills

Experience with A/B Testing or experimental design

Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional team
