We are looking for the very best to join our AAA 4‑Diamond Hotel, featured in the Top 10 of all Meeting Hotels in the United States per Cvent.

The Events Affiliate Coordinator’s position primary focus is selling and servicing affiliate/local bookings. This position acts as the liaison between meeting planners and the hotel staff. Responsibilities include: creating and executing contracts, administering the agreement, detailing all food, beverage and A/V needs, some management of room blocks, billing instructions and final review. Events Affiliate Coordinators are on‑site contacts and are responsible for the smooth execution of all events. This position is entry level into event planning and event sales management.

WAGE:

the wage for this position is $30/hour. This is the pay we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual pay decisions will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, education, and operational needs.

Qualifications

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.

Refined verbal and written communication skills

A minimum of 1 year of hotel event sales/event planning or comparable experience preferred

Must be proficient in general computer knowledge

Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, organized and be able to handle a fast paced environment

Sales and situational training is helpful
