$81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials, components, and MRO supplies.
Source, evaluate, and select new suppliers while fostering strong relationships with existing vendors.
Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts to achieve cost savings and optimize value.
Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with production needs and company objectives.
Monitor supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to specifications.
Collaborate with production and planning teams to forecast material needs and manage inventory levels.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including material shortages and price fluctuations.
Recommended Qualifications
Minimum 5-7 years of progressive purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiation, and contract management.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
Proven ability to lead and develop a purchasing team, driving cost reduction and supply chain efficiency.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Experience with advanced analytics tools for spend analysis and forecasting
Fluency in a second language relevant to global sourcing (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish, German)
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or other relevant professional certification
Proven experience in implementing or optimizing an ERP/MRP system for purchasing functions
