Overview
This role supports a high-impact government technical development program focused on entitlement systems and identity & access management (IdAM/ICAM). The engineer will design and implement cloud-native architectures in AWS, providing hands-on technical leadership and guidance to development and mission teams. Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver cloud solutions tailored to mission requirements Design, develop, and support enterprise software and infrastructure in AWS Provide execution guidance and hands-on engineering support to teams Support security patching, server operations, and AWS environments Guide cloud implementation priorities and best practices Work closely with cross-functional teams (Dev, Security, Compliance, QA) in Agile/SAFe/Scrum environments Required Qualifications
BS degree with 11–15 years of relevant experience Strong experience with IdAM/ICAM, authentication, authorization, entitlement management, and digital policy management Experience with security accreditation processes Deep knowledge of AWS, cloud architecture, and infrastructure-as-code DevOps/CI/CD experience (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Puppet, Azure DevOps) Strong communication skills and enterprise-level collaboration experience TS/SCI with Polygraph Desired Qualifications
AWS Associate-level certification 3+ years of C2S experience Experience with CloudFormation, serverless architectures, and data lakes (e.g., Elasticsearch) Cloud migration experience and ability to provide detailed technical direction Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder requirements Benefits
