*Hybrid in Westlake, TX*

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Developer with expertise in building and deploying AWS cloud-compatible pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integrating, orchestrating, managing, and building multi-tier distributed applications and a passion for creating amazing clusters. You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to automation and supporting data ingestion service, ETL services, batch process services, and real-time data streaming services as a cloud engineer supporting our global data engineering team.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60 - $70 / hr. w2

Responsibilities

Craft amazing experiences as you pair alongside brilliant engineers hyper specialized in data engineering, Python, Java, and other Cloud engineers

Constantly improve and perfect all things cloud, including clusters, configurations, deployments, and anything with IaaC

Support the full SDLC, from design, to development, testing, any feedback from business users, to the deployment and support phases as you perfect processes within the greater team and platform

Come ready each day with a positive mindset, and ability to work alongside both other engineers, business stakeholders, and anyone else in the organization who wants to discuss pipelines, whether over a virtual call, in person, or over coffee after a team meeting

Experience Requirements Must haves:

7+ progressive years in Information Technology and Engineering which have led you to be a proven resource with abilities with Kubernetes clusters, Terraform and either CFT or ARM templates

Strong understanding and demonstrated practical professional experience with CICD tools such as GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins, Maven, Udeploy, et cetera

Able to work across all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including building, deploying, integration times, and times where alerts come in (must have skills with either Grafana, DataDog, Prometheus, or equivalent APM tool)

Must be able to problem solve through changing business needs, and be able to influence and mentor others to help them stay in the right direction when called upon in situations where alerts come which impact the greater team, business, or platform

Education Requirements Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent STEM (Required)
