What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Linux Systems Administrator within our SVS division. This position is based out of Louisville, KY. The Linux Systems Administrator is responsible for the installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of all Linux systems, AIX systems, and related hardware infrastructure. This role will report into the Manager, Systems Administration.
How We Work As a Linux Systems Administrator you will be expected to work out of our Louisville office location. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include:
Participating on a team supporting and maintaining all Linux and Windows Server hardware and Operating Systems, AWS cloud instances, SAN, Active Directory and related functions and services.
Providing strategic and architectural planning and vision for the Linux/Windows infrastructure.
Monitoring the environment for performance and stability that meets Service Level Objectives.
Contributing to and maintaining system standards.
Maintaining system patching levels, ensuring current system backups, and analyzing systems for performance tuning.
Performing root cause analysis on incidents on supported systems hardware and OS/software.
Producing reports essential for proper management of the server environment.
Maintaining the environment to satisfy security requirements set by business drivers and Information Security department.
Possessing the ability to objectively handle escalation of reported incidents related to all facets of the server environment.
Working with peers across multiple business units.
Participating in 24/7 on‑call rotation.
Qualifications & Skills
3+ years of experience with design, architecture, and support of Linux system environments. Red Hat Linux experience preferred.
Experience with Red Hat Satellite.
Experience with infrastructure orchestration and automation.
Experience with container architecture.
Experience with web servers and jvms.
Experience in VMware server environments.
Familiarity with Windows servers, Active Directory.
Strong working knowledge of networking architectures and protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred; technical education or equivalent experience in the computer field required.
A self‑starter with good interpersonal skills who can work equally well with management, peers, and end‑users.
Someone who can lead a team on projects and be a liaison with Project Managers.
