Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required for this position. 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Python programming language. Experience with Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline and tools. Experience with JIRA and Confluence. Client is looking for an Associate Ground Systems Engineer to join our team in Seal Beach, California.The SI&WS GMSE division creates the next generation products and services for the BDS business unit. We work with both commercial and proprietary customers in the development of the next-generation technologies in space. Our team focuses on rapid prototyping to demonstrate a host of mission-focused technologies for a variety of customers. Our group works all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements, design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments.The Associate Ground Systems Engineer will join a high-performing team that is immersed in high intensity development projects. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work proprietary programs for U.S. government customers who are responsible for exciting advanced technology national security missions. Apply modern DevSecOps practices (including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerized deployments, and infrastructure as code) to streamline integration and test activities. Stand up, configure, and maintain secure test environments leveraging cloud-native and virtualized resources. Drive continuous improvement of integration and test processes, incorporating automation, metrics, and lessons learned to increase efficiency and reliability. Automate, develop, monitor, improve, and troubleshoot across software engineering development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security controls. Review, develop, document, and maintain system requirements and traceability. Interface with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external customers. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Experience with Linux. Experience with Kubernetes, Java, JavaScript/React, database, and mutual Transport Layer Security (mTLS). Experience working with Government customers. Active CompTIA Security+ certification. REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification. Required: Bachelor or Master degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, com WORK HOURS:
