Responsibilities

Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service, meeting or exceeding company objectives in all individual statistics.

Adhere to visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, store cleanliness, and maintain a professional appearance consistent with the dress‑code policy.

Control expenses by protecting company assets, preparing schedules for proper coverage, managing inventory accurately, and following all policies for receiving, transferring, and pricing items.

Open and close the store according to procedures in the Operations P&P Manual.

Support and adhere to all Lids policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising store personnel.

Communicate with employees at all levels and ensure compliance with store policies.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience.

Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate verbally in a clear, professional manner.

Competency in operating a computer and related software programs.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb a ladder, and work with hands overhead.

Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.

Ability to work unsupervised.

Preferred & Compensation Information

Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Assistant Store Managers PT are also available for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount.
