Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed psychologist to join our team and conduct compensation and pension exams for veterans in our clinic. As a psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive psychological evaluation for each veteran, including a clinical interview, psychological testing, and review of medical records. You will then report findings via a Disability Benefit Questionnaire. Face to Face (on site): M-F, Clinic Hours- 8am-5pm with an hour break available. Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for veterans Review medical records and interview veterans to assess mental health conditions and related impairments Compete DBQs and Independent Medical Records as instructed Work with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans for veterans Qualifications: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree from an accredited university Active and unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of Texas Experience conducting veteran compensation and pension exams is preferred Excellent clinical and assessment skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compensation and Benefits: Competitive daily rate (up to $600 per day) Opportunity to make a difference in the lives of veterans Collaborative and supportive work environment
