Serve on Imagine’s Quality Team as a medical/behavioral representative on the Responsive Services Committee for identified regions. Provide oversight and support (in-person and virtual) to individuals with complex medical and/or behavioral challenges. Serve as a liaison with the care team for individuals-served, including psychiatry, therapists, pharmacy, and support staff. This includes: Providing resources and support to individuals in crisis. Showing empathy and compassion in interactions with individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Participating and providing support within the implementation of an individual’s care plan, including their interventions and additional supports. Connecting individuals and/or staff with resources/education necessary as it relates to mental health, chemical dependency, or inappropriate sexual behaviors. Assist in the development, training, implementation, and monitoring of individuals-served complex medical and/or behavioral support plans. This role requires extensive knowledge in mental health/psychiatric nursing, including crisis intervention and risk management planning through supporting the development and review of appropriate, time-limited rights restrictions, behavioral supports, and intervention plans. Assist with medication administration, as needed. This could include assisting with the development and review of curriculum and remedial training for our direct care teams. Be an advocate for individuals receiving services to have as much control over their own lives as possible. All individuals should be treated with respect and should feel empowered to live their life as independently as physically possible. Benefits

Ability to Communicate Well: strong communication with the team and the people served. Confidence: balance boldness and humility; advocate for others while following leadership. Experience: knowledge of physical health disorders, psychotropic medications, DSM diagnoses, and co-occurring disorders is preferred. Education: RN licensure through an accredited program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree accepted) with at least three years of experience in psychiatric, emergency, or substance abuse treatment nursing. Licensure(s): Valid Iowa RN license. Driver’s License: Ability to provide safe transportation when required. Work Authorization:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to perform the essential functions of this job. May require lifting up to 35 pounds; lifting more than 35 pounds requires a two-person lift, mechanical lift, or assistive equipment. Prolonged sitting and computer use up to eight hours. Frequent bending, stooping, and stretching; prolonged standing up to eight hours. Protective equipment as required (hearing and eye protection). Ability to see objects at distance and up close; hear conversations in quiet and noisy environments. Ability to determine sound direction and hear differences among alerts. Ability to communicate verbally and to drive/transport for service provision as needed. Must remain awake during working hours, if applicable.
