We have three clinics in the KC area, two in Grain Valley, MO and one in Liberty, MO.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):

We have open spots for RBTs looking to gain fieldwork hours to become a BCBA!

Scope Identify, provide, and create opportunities for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists, and other Behavior Therapists to provide high quality services. Feel comfortable with frequent parent observation sessions.

Requirements

High School Diploma

Interested in a graduate degree in ABA, OT, SLP, Early Childhood Special Education or other related field (preferred)

Criminal background check

Must be able to obtain and maintain a CPR certification

Understanding of HIPAA and adherence to all policies

Works with integrity and ethically

Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness

Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on your feet as well as an ability to lift items up to 25 lbs on occasion

Familiarity with the field of Autism Spectrum Disorder and ABA preferred

Work under the supervision of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Responsibilities

Conduct quality 1:1 and group ABA therapy to clients in a clinic-based and/or community-based setting.

Implement ABA treatment programs as written by the Clinical Supervisor.

Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan utilizing data collection software.

Provide hands-on, direct care while following the principles of ABA.

Work collaboratively with intradisciplinary team including, OT and Speech Therapy.

Adhere to all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, confidentiality and mandated reporting standards as set by Children With Opportunity.

Maintain appropriate social distancing, safety, and enhanced protective hygiene practices both on and off the job. (We provide PPE, caregiver communication tools and practices, and limit exposure through small work groups.)

Communicate clearly and effectively - both orally and written - with clients, families, and colleagues.

Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment goals.

Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops to acquire further knowledge.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
