Shift Nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Weekly Scheduled Hours 36 hours
License and Certification
Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
Education
RN-Associate’s Degree
RN-Bachelor’s Degree
RN-Diploma
RN-Master’s Degree

Department Overview The Sentara CarePlex Intensive Care Unit is a 24-bed medical-surgical ICU with eICU monitoring. Our patient population includes COPD, CHF, R/O MI, respiratory failure, GI bleeds, pancreatitis, renal failure, liver failure, multiple organ failures with or without sepsis, and surgical populations, with vascular and ENT surgeries, primary stroke center, being the most common. In addition, devices in ICU include PRISMAX and Balloon Pump.
