where everyone wears multiple hats and contributes directly to both engineering and production operations. As the
Design Engineer , you’ll lead high‑profile projects, work closely with cross‑functional teams, and play a key role in driving engineering efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. You’ll have the opportunity to be hands‑on in both design and problem‑solving, while also influencing broader company processes and direction. Key Responsibilities
Project Timeliness – Ensure all project milestones are met, from concept to design reviews, working within tight deadlines. Project Timeliness – Balance daily engineering tasks with special projects and continuous improvement efforts. Quality – Deliver high‑quality designs and ensure that project management processes align with industry standards. Quality – Act as a liaison between customers and the team, translating needs into practical engineering tasks. Efficiency – Optimize designs for manufacturability, ensuring seamless production and cost‑effectiveness. Efficiency – Engage with shop floor teams, incorporating feedback to improve engineering processes. Process Development & Improvement – Implement new engineering processes and drive a culture of continuous improvement. Process Development & Improvement – Foster strong collaboration between engineering and manufacturing teams to streamline workflows. Team Collaboration – Work alongside other departments to ensure smooth project execution, from design through to production. Team Collaboration – Contribute to a tight‑knit team where cross‑functional collaboration is essential to success. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, ideally in a smaller, fast‑paced plant environment. Experience in automotive manufacturing, tool and die, or high‑pressure die casting. Proficiency in CAD, Siemens NX, Catia. Hands‑on
