Grubbs Nissan is looking for an
Inventory Manager
to
oversee all aspects of vehicle inventory management , ensuring both new and used vehicles meet high standards of quality and presentation. This role involves
monitoring the reconditioning process
for used cars,
coordinating pre‑delivery inspections
for new vehicles, and
optimizing
the dealership lot for efficiency and customer experience.
This position requires a proactive individual who can identify and address potential issues before they impact the business. You will collaborate with various departments to forecast demand, manage inventory movements, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. The Inventory Manager is a critical role within the organization, responsible for the efficient management of all inventory‑related activities. This includes overseeing and ensuring the accuracy of inventory records. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing our supply chain and reducing costs. You will be expected to develop and implement inventory strategies, identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations. This role demands a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Position Responsibilities
Develop and implement inventory management strategies and procedures.
Monitor stock levels
and identify potential shortages or overstocks.
Analyze inventory
to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Plan stock replenishment inventory accordingly.
Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of vehicles.
Ensure accurate
record‑keeping
of all inventory transactions.
Implement and maintain inventory control systems and key tracking systems.
Identify and address any issues related to inventory management.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Manage and train inventory staff.
Requirements
Clean driving record a must.
Pass the required background check and clear the required drug screening prior to employment.
Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and procedures.
Excellent problem‑solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience in planning (stocking) vehicles.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated
leadership abilities.
Ability to lift 80lbs without restriction or special accommodations.
Job is subject to out of state travel.
Job Type
Full‑Time
Monday - Friday 7am to 8pm
Saturday 7am to 7pm (required)
Sundays off + one day of the week
