In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.# **What you will be doing**Hours 9am-5pmSchedule – Flexible as needed: weekends, weekdays, and holidays required**Position Summary**Successful candidate will support the Food and Nutrition department at Hospital for Special Surgery by providing comprehensive nutrition and collaborative food service care to meet our patients’ needs.
**Skills/Position Requirements*** Strong interpersonal, clinical, and critical thinking skills.* Excellent customer service and ability to communicate with all team members to resolve problems.* Ability to take initiative, work independently, manage heavy workload.with good time management skills.* Experience with Epic and CBORD (Foodservice Suite) preferred.**Responsibilities*** Provide nutrition therapy to adult and pediatric inpatients according to medical condition and nutrition needs**.*** Develop treatment plan to promote wound healing after surgery and maintain nutrition status.* Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and communications.* Provide nutrition education and counseling.**Schedule*** Flexible as needed; weekdays, weekends, and holidays required.**Required Credentials**Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD)Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) in NYSPediatric experienceMasters degree preferredBenefits – Not eligible**Non-Discrimination Policy**
