3rd Shift Security Supervisor (MUSEUM) – Chicago, Illinois, US
Full-time – WEEKENDS INCLUDED
We are looking for a 3rd shift Security Supervisor to oversee, manage and run a team of security officers to ensure a safe and secure environment for clients, customers and employees by patrolling, monitoring premises and personnel throughout the Chicagoland (MUSEUM) work site.
Responsibilities
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points.
Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Enforces security policies and procedures at all events.
Qualifications
ACTIVE 2027 ILLINOIS PERC card – Required
20hr Basic Security Training Certificate – Required
3+ years of recent supervisor experience
5+ years of security experience
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Sound Judgment
Dependability
Professionalism
Open Availability
Working conditions Some sites consist of outdoor & indoor posts that will involve inclement weather conditions.
Physical requirements With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
