The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job‑related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Expected Pay Scale Minimum: $27.00 Hourly Maximum: $30.41 Hourly
Job Summary The Grant Specialist (GS) reports to the Assistant Director of Post Award Accounting and is assigned to work with the Sponsored Programs and Contract Management team by providing quality service support in the pre‑award, pending, post‑award and close‑out aspects of grant/contract administration. Duties are assigned to ensure that the institution conforms to policy and agency regulation.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge:
Basic accounting. Basic mathematical.
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Abilities:
Ability to make independent decisions based on experience and review of material. Demonstrate a commitment to working in an organization that values and promotes humanism.
Required Qualifications
Any combination of education and/or experience equivalent to a BA degree or any combination of education, training or experience in the area of grant/contract services.
