Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures including cleanings, periodontal assessments, and fluoride treatments
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and preventive care
Take digital dental X-rays and assist dentists with treatment planning
Conduct oral cancer screenings and maintain accurate medical and dental records
Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation as permitted by state regulations
Utilize advanced dental technologies as intraoral cameras, digital charting, and laser treatments
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
Active state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist
Proficiency with dental software and digital imaging systems
Strong understanding of dental hygiene procedures and oral anatomy
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Detail-oriented with strong documentation abilities
