Tuesday 13th January 2026 We are looking for new team members to join our fantastic Team Moray in Elgin as Support Practitioners on a part-time (20 or 25 hours per week), permanent basis. Responsibilities
Support individuals to identify and work towards their goals and develop personal plans that reflect their choices, needs and abilities. Help individuals manage their own homes and increase and maintain independence. Encourage and support personal care and social, health and wellbeing needs. Assist individuals to access leisure activities, engage in meaningful activities, and take part in hobbies and interests that are important to them, both at home and in the local community. Bring creativity and enthusiasm to supporting individuals to participate in activities and community engagement. Contribute to ensuring positive outcomes and a supportive environment for those you support. About You
You don’t need prior care experience or qualifications to start; the organisation will invest in you with paid training and funding for SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) and yearly SSSC registration fees. Great communication skills and a positive, solution-focused attitude. Good teamwork skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. Willingness to learn and use new systems and technology. The ability to apply good administrative and numeracy skills to keep clear, accurate records up to date. Understanding of the importance of keeping to routines and guidelines. Shift Patterns
Shift patterns involve early mornings, days and evenings, with weekends, public holidays and sleepovers on a rotational basis. The sleep part of a sleepover is not included in contracted hours; there is an additional payment for £100.80 per sleepover worked. Application
