What You Will Do In This Role
Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and other managers to create a team environment that supports improved outcomes and service.
Support a patient‑first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
Support the facility’s efforts to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds and other initiatives.
Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; recommend and implement courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
Assist with staff scheduling; manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient‑care needs and established productivity guidelines.
Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
Registered Nurse credential.
ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate Provider obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree required.
One or more years of applicable experience.
Inpatient acute care/hospital experience required.
