Job Summary Morton ISD is seeking a dynamic Secondary Principal (Grades 7–12) to lead a growing 2A campus in a supportive, high-energy school community. The principal will serve as the instructional leader and campus administrator, fostering academic excellence while supporting a fun, family-oriented culture with a strong small-town feel. This position includes full responsibility for all campus operations.
Responsibilities
Provide instructional leadership focused on student achievement and continuous improvement.
Lead and manage all Title I requirements, including compliance, budgeting, parent engagement, and the Campus Improvement Plan.
Support and collaborate with a highly committed, team-oriented staff.
Oversee campus operations, discipline, safety, and student support systems.
Promote a positive school culture that values relationships, high expectations, and student success in academics and athletics.
Build strong partnerships with students, families, and the community.
Qualifications
Master’s degree and valid Texas principal certification
Secondary campus leadership experience preferred
Title I leadership experience preferred
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
Strong instructional leadership and communication skills
