Senior Quality Assurance Analyst Qualifications
5 – 8 Years of experience in Quality Assurance/IT
Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field. In lieu of a degree, equivalent work experience may be considered.
Good knowledge of QA industry best practices
Working knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies
Responsibilities
Plan, estimate and create manual test suites per provided requirements.
Create and maintain the regression test suite for your application.
Execute test cases during sprints and on an ad hoc basis.
Identify and document defects, working with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate efforts with internal and contract testers
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure effective quality assurance and testing processes. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product quality.
Interact with development teams to ensure tests provide accurate, complete, and appropriate coverage.
Work with QA Automation Engineers to ensure that automation is set up correctly and that manual and automated tests are aligned. Report changes in testing requirements to automation engineers for code adjustments.
Associate test cases with User Stories in Azure DevOps. Utilize Azure DevOps Test Plans for management and reporting.
Provide updates during team standups, highlighting progress, issues, and any changes in testing.
Review and approve test cases and pull requests to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.
Assist Jr Quality Assurance Analysts with enhancing their product knowledge and test case estimates.
