This is a hybrid position providing primarily on-site support to a DoD customer located in Falls Church, VA. The Project Coordinator provides administrative, coordination, and logistical support to a government organization to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and effective execution of business execution, outreach, communication, and mentor-protégé support activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Assist with planning, organizing, conducting, and assessing outreach events supporting the organization’s objectives. Support benefit assessments and prepare monthly written recommendations for participation in non-DoD external events. Assist in developing outreach metrics and preparing semi-annual outreach reports. Prepare and assemble authorization documentation for outreach events and speaking engagements for senior leadership approval. Coordinate industry outreach activities, including tracking speaking engagements and outreach events. Support management of the organization website, including content updates, link maintenance, and coordination with information management systems. Assist with development of draft communications related to small business matters, including newsletters, training materials, marketing materials, and the annual Small Business Executive Summary. Support posting and coordination of approved communications to web-based platforms and social media. Track tasks, schedules, and deliverables to support timely execution of activities. Perform other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Must be a U.S. citizen. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an administrative or project coordination role. Strong organizational, coordination, and time-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools. Experience supporting administrative, outreach, or communications functions. Ability to manage competing priorities in a federal support environment. Excellent oral/written communication, teamwork, and presentation skills. Ability to travel, primarily in the national capital region (NCR) as required.
